Where do we meet for trips?

For charter trips and fly fishing trips we meet at the Dillon Marina dock C slip 22, 15 min prior to trip departure.

How many fish do you average on a trip?

Thats impossible to tell, its fishing not catching! somedays we catch 30 or more other days we struggle to catch five, remember your getting scenery and a scenic cruise as well, dont forget to look around.

What is the best trip to catch fish?

The morning trip is the nicest weather wise and tends to book up the fastest and produces well, although we have been known to sleigh it in the afternoon, just be prepared for a little wind and clouds.

How young is too young for the charter fishing?

Big Ed's specializes in families with kids of all ages, with our lazy man style of fishing(trolling) we can put any age on trout.

2012 Spring Fishing Report

As we approach memorial day weekend the high country weather is warming the reservoirs temperature making it prime for catching the elusive Brown trout. In the early season we are concentrating on fishing the river inlets as the rainbow trout and brown trout both seem to be nabbing bugs near the surface.
