2011 Spring Fishing Report
The Dillon Reservoir is set to thaw on time this year for a date around May 5th-May 15th. The Charter fishing should be available to guests by the third week of May. Upon thaw the water temp ranges from 40-45 degrees, so lil devil spoons and shiny Kastmasters are great, when fish are starved cause of the range of which they can see the shine of the lure.
On the Blue river Nymphs and midges have been known to fish well this time of year, look for hatches riverside. The Blue river above the Dillon dam is 76cfs and continues to rise as of 4/19/11 and below the dam flow is at 206cfs, both have been fishing quite well.
